Introducing My CMU Experiences
Hi, my name is Alicia McNeely. This is my fourth year at CMU and I could not be happier about my choice to attend here. I have learned so much during my time here and plan to learn a lot more this year. Through my participation in News Central 34 and my internship at WLNS News 6 in Lansing, I have experienced what it is like to be a news producer. News producing is fast paced and always different from day to day which makes it the perfect future career for me. This blog will explain what things I will do during my last two semesters that put me one step closer to my career.

Hi Alicia! I can not wait to read more about your experiences with broadcasting and news production! News broadcasting is something that I can see being very fast paced, as you mentioned, and very hard having to quickly get up to date, live, and pressing news to appeal to your audience. I am excited to read about how it goes for you and wish you the best of luck!

ReplyDeleteAlicia, broadcasting is something that I personally find interesting and it will be cool to see kind of an insiders perspective on how it all works. I have a few friends and classmates that also have done work in the broadcasting department here at CMU so I'll be looking forward to reading about this topic.
